1. Download your favorite background from the options below.
2. Open your meeting in the Teams Calendar and select Join.
3. On the preview screen, select Effects and avatars.
4. Select More video effects, then Add new.
5. Choose the background image you downloaded.
6. Select your new background and join your meeting.

No problem.

1. Select More actions (...) in the meeting controls.
2. Select Video effects and settings.
3. Select Video effects.
4. Choose Add new and select your downloaded background.
5. Select Preview to check your look.
6. Select Apply when you're ready.

If you're presenting on camera, we recommend setting your background before joining the webinar so everything is ready before you go live.

• Before joining a meeting: On the pre-join screen, click your video/device settings or background effects and toggle off the mirror option.

Teams accepts JPG, PNG, and BMP background images.

Once you choose a background, Teams will remember it for future meetings and calls until you select a different one or turn background effects off.
