AI – The original file. These are scalable and vector; they can be enlarged or scaled down to any size without any loss in quality. Please note: You will not be able to open these files without Adobe software. (You can email them as an attachment to someone that does.)
EPS – Not really necessary, but this file type is sometimes specifically requested by printers. Please note: You will not be able to open these files without Adobe software. (You can email them as an attachment to someone that does.)
PDF – These are helpful for both printers and for previewing.
JPEG – These raster images can be used for most of your inner office purposes; ie, documents, etc.
PNG – These raster images are small in file size and have a transparent background. Use these when your background is not white. Great for digital use – Not for print.
If you are sending the logo to any printing company, I recommend always sending all file types.
(Feel free to send them the zipped file!)
